It’s Time to Spill the Tea

This website is dedicated to certain special needs communities to provide insight and awareness to individuals and families’ day to day lives, legislative awareness, community resources and products and services developed by those with disabilities and those who serve them. Our motto is: “Be the Voice of the Voiceless”.

Know your rights & Access your resources!

Whether you are a person with a disability, a caretaker, a consumer, client or provider, you need to know your rights and be able to access your local, state and federal benefits. Everyone matters.

We hope to build this community including testimonials by members of the autism community and other disability communities to share their personal stories and experiences and how they are addressing and overcoming them. Video and written testimonials are more than welcome. Email: Maria@teatimewithred.com.

This enterprise began in 2008 when the founder opened an autism overnight respite camp titled AnamCara Autism Camp, Inc. to serve people on the spectrum with low to medium ability levels ages 7-17 and their caretakers. the camp was devoted to the founder’s two boys born on the autism spectrum, one who is non-verbal.

The camp was temporarily closed n 2016 and reopened in 2021 as Anam Cara Community Homes which is more inclusive of the consumers’ needs and includes other disability communities within the Greater Houston area.

The recent website was started to address AWARENESS of the ongoing discrimination of people with disabilities and the gap in transitional needs for them to integrate or reintegrate in society.

The other focus is to make others aware of the DISCRIMINATION and the daily struggles they face and to ask society to be more compassionate and to show them the best ways to assist them. This site will show you how to assist them. Why? Because everyone matters.
